AWWA Webcast: Utility Perspective – Successful Biological Treatment Applications

Taste-and-odor (T&O) issues in drinking water have been a concern for water utilities for decades. This webcast will present data gathered from drinking water utilities on occurrence, frequency, and causes of T&O episodes; address how to handle consumer complaints; describe detection methods for T&O compounds (e.g., sensory, analytical, and training); and the control of source water and applicable treatment methods will be discussed,  as well as the costs that might be associated with T&O mitigation.
